Destiny 2 has already spotted Xur, so today awaits the curious exo-merchant and messenger of the Nine with tentacles in his face. MeinMMO tells you where you can find him and what he has to offer.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? For PvE players, the time of the most difficult endgame has begun. At the moment you can secure the title “Conqueror” and also gild it.
If you want to complete a Twilight Leader, you need a power level of 1595 to start the activity as well. If you already have a much higher power level, you can no longer use it in this mode.
In season 18, the required power level for leaders is 1,620, and the competitive mode automatically limits each player to 1,595 power levels. A downside that is quite a challenge since you are a one-shot of almost everything and coverage is essential.
There are also two nerfs that will make things a little more difficult for players in the future. On the one hand, the popular sword perk for the “Bold Blade” perk has been changed. This could give players huge speed boosts. However, the effect was once again coldly exploited and abused to bypass game mechanics and annoy teammates.
But the bitterest realization this week was surely that Bungie put divinity on the future nerf list. We’ve summarized exactly what’s planned for you in an article update:
All information about Xur on 07 October 2022 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Google Stadia
When does Xur arrive? The Exotic Vendor visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 7pm. Anyone who still has gaps in their Exo collection expects it, as it’s the easiest way to get Exos. It only costs you a one-way flight and some material as a means of payment.
Where is Xur located? This is his weekend camp
Xur’s position: Xur can be found in a different location each week. So you never know exactly where you will find it.
However, Xur returned to the hangar tower this weekend.
The inventory of Xur from 07.10. – 11.10. – All exotics at a glance
What does Xur offer? As the chosen exotic vendor of the “Nine”, a menacing group in Destiny 2, Xur ships new weapons and armor to players on their behalf on a weekly basis. All characters, namely sorcerers, hunters and titans, can purchase from him. Whether you are a newbie to the game or an experienced Guardian. His wares are certainly better than what Spider has to offer.
This week he sells you the following items:
- Exotic weapon: Double-Tailed Fox – Rocket launcher for 29 Legendary Shards
- Titanium: ACD / 0 Obstacle Feedback – Arc Vambraces for 23 Legendary Shards
- Mobility: +7
- Resilience: +8
- Cooldown: +18
- Discipline: +7
- Intellect: +16
- Strength: +9
- Total: 65
- Soccer player: Wyvern Crown – Headgear of the Void for 23 Legendary Shards
- Mobility: +14

- Mobility: +6
- Resilience: +19
- Cooldown: +8
- Discipline: +16

- Total: 63
Legendary Armor Set: Players can be opulent, as Calus’ old menagerie armor set “Opulent Stalker” is now available on Xur. Guardians in particular look chic in them and can adorn themselves with purple jewelry, although the armor values are pretty meager.
Our purchase recommendation: Lindworm’s crown. Their stats are fine and the Exotic can be used in some Hunter builds because he is versatile and grants you health and an overshield.
Xur also sells legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotic items from past exotic DLC missions that are no longer available. Note, however: You can only purchase weapons if you also have the appropriate extension.
He currently has these two weapons on offer:
- The Falcon Moon (Beyond Light) exotic pistol with the First Shot advantage
- The Exotic Scout Rifle Beyond the Light with the All Good Things Coming Four Advantage
Weapons cost: These two exotics cost 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Code, 125,000 Glimmer and 200 Legendary Shards respectively.
Xur always has this with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to get an Exotic Code.
Trials of Osiris on 10/07 – 11.10. – Map, weapons and information
What map is this week? The so-called PvP trials always take place on a fixed map.
- This weekend’s map is Endless Vale
If you are interested in playing trials in a permanent team, MeinMMO recommends booster maps via Warmind. This gives your team a good description of where the opponents are on the map, which is useful information for the whole team.
How to get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation rating system. Your reward for the highest loot in PvP matches is currently for:
- Seven wins
- 50 shots
- as well as the infamous flawless ride that takes you to the lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run – 7 wins. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday 11 October at 7pm.
- This week your loot is The Inquisitor, the new rifle.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: Haste – Improves reload, stability, aim assist and range when you are the last member of your squad alive or fighting alone.
You can focus your test engrams on the weapon desired at the 14th saint. At the top are empowerment prisms and ascending shards. Keep in mind that once you have a full pass, your reward increases even more, even if you lose a game or two.
When do rehearsals officially begin? The Trials of Osiris begin today, October 7, at 7:00 pm and end with the Weekly Reset, October 11 at 7:00 pm.
So if you want to throw yourself into practice, it’s worth focusing this arc with a new Season 18 lead:
