Do I love social evenings with friends or do I have professional commitments that require a boardroom? A relaxing and welcoming atmosphere has a positive effect on mood and health. Colors play an important role in this context. With the right choice of color you can, among other things, promote concentration or sleep.

The perception of color is different, but numerous studies allow general claims to be made about the color effect. We basically distinguish between cold and warm colors. Warm, natural tones such as beige create a welcoming atmosphere and are therefore often used in the living room. Brown and orange are a perfect match. In the bedroom, on the other hand, cold shades such as blue or green are more suitable because they promote sleep.

Also lighting it is important in this context, because it can also set the colors in the scene. The lighting situation must be adapted to the respective room: in the work room, good daylight is required to avoid over-straining the eyes, in the living room a soft light is more comfortable.

The size of the room
