Goldene Henne 2022: Nana Mouskouri resists tears in Silbereisen

Today, for the 28th time, the largest German public award, gold henna, is presented. Florian Silbereisen leads the gala organized by SUPERillu and MDR television – and promises many exciting moments. All information about the show in the BUNTE.de ticker protocol.

Mareile Höppner makes a moving laudatory speech

22:25: Antonia Zöllmann is one of the volunteers who take care of the affected children. Moderator Silbereisen spontaneously asks the young woman on stage – and laudator Mareile Höppner actually has another surprise hen with her: In the “Charity” category: in her laudatory speech, the moderator falters repeatedly. “As a mother, I worry about myself,” she explains. In the current situation, children are inundated with bad news, sometimes overwhelmed. The use of helpers is all the more important – people like Antonia. “Today the Goldene Henne comes to you for your tireless efforts – I would say firefighters for the soul.” Antonia thanks her colleagues who work for the salvation of children’s souls: “Today I’m not alone on the stage”.

22:19: And things are getting serious again: in Germany, 150,000 children are affected by depression and the numbers have increased dramatically during the corona pandemic. “I just want to have fun like everyone else around me,” says a stricken girl. Children find it difficult to classify or describe their feelings correctly, Prof. Ulrich Hegerl knows, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the German Foundation for Aid to Depression. Therefore, education is particularly important.

21:59: Andreas Gabalier and Michael Patrick Kelly are now fighting for Goldene Henne in the music category. And the winner’s name is … Michael Patrick Kelly! The award will be presented by a good friend of the singer (and also a prominent musician), Rea Garvey. “You represent family, friendship, faith – you represent the music,” she explains in her laudatory speech.

21:43: The good deeds are not over yet: there is a check for 25,000 euros for the costs of materials for the Association National Park Friends Saxon Switzerland.

Fireman Toni becomes “Everyday Hero”

21:35: Completely different topic, but just as emotional. A clip shows terrible images from Saxon Switzerland. In August, large areas of forest burned: the flames destroyed everything, ate through nature. One of the honorary firefighters: One of the honorary firefighters: Toni from Bad Schandau. Representing all the heroes of fire, he now deserves the applause of the audience. “We can’t say thank you to the helpers often enough!” announces Silbereisen – and brings everyday heroes to the stage. Musician Wincent Weiss introduced her to the second hen of the evening.
